RFA Engineering (www.rfamec.com) is seeking a growth oriented logistics engineer to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Sanford, NC. The selected candidate will work with our client's experienced engineering staff in evaluating supply chain and logistics capacity and constraints, work to identify current and potential areas of improvement, and develop and execute plans accordingly. The candidate will work both as an individual contributor and as part of a project team.  This job represents a unique opportunity for candidates interested in working in a fast paced, team environment.


  • Ability to address issues on both supplier and receiver side of the supply chain.
  • Primary contributor in the evaluating material flow plans, identifying issues, and developing/executing plans.
  • Work with supply management and suppliers and other cross functional team members.
  • Use of AutoCAD, Microsoft Suite software and Team Center PDM software.
  • Variety of work day to day.
  • Some packaging/crate transfer design.


  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering
  • Experience with supply chain work.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude demonstrated through either previous work experience or hobbies.
  • Ability to work on numerous tasks concurrently
  • Strong problem solving skills, good mechanical aptitude, and good communication skills
  • Experience with heavy equipment is a plus
  • TeamCenter Engineering PDM software is a plus.
