RFA Engineering (www.rfamec.com) is seeking a growth oriented experienced candidate who is responsible for leading recruiting efforts and ensuring a pipeline of talent to meet the growing and changing needs of our organization.  They will assist with the handling of employee relations and training, as well as assist with administrative functions of the organization.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Understand job opening requirements and assess competence against the technical job requirements and description.
  • Post and market the position on job boards, social media, corporate career websites and other possible channels.
  • Reviews resumes, conducts phone interviews, and sets up in-person interviews with candidates.
  • Ability to work extra hours and evenings to align with the availability of candidates for screening.
  • Submit resumes in the client's procurement system.​ 
  • Maintain contact with prospective candidates over time until they are available, or until a suitable position arises for them to join RFA
  • Work with management to resolve direction of candidates that are under consideration for multiple locations.
  • Assign candidates to suitable open positions, or re-assign desirable unselected candidates to remaining positions.
  • May attend career fairs and other recruiting events
  • This position may require some periodic travel to develop the reputation and relationship of RFA with individuals and organizations

Secondary Job Responsibilities

  • Work with HR to on-board newly hired employees.
  • Assist with conducting reference and background checks.
  • Assists with the documentation of all HR processes and procedures.
  • Assist in creating and updating all HR forms/templates.
  • Assists with the monthly update meeting and other events.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the HR Manager.

Requirements

  • BS Degree in Human Resources Management or related field required
  • 1-3 years of customer service or recruiting experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member
  • Possess a high level of confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • May have to travel <10% of the time
