RFA Engineering (www.rfamec.com) is seeking candidates to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Augusta, GA. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will work with our engineering staff and our customer's staff to support the production of Utility Tractors.  Our customer's facility is a world-class engineering and manufacturing center including full capability of machine design, simulation, prototyping manufacturing, and testing of entire vehicles.

Job Description

  • Applying engineering rigor in harness, hardware, sensor, and display development activities
  • Assisting clients product improvement teams regarding electrical system components
  • Component selection, development, and integration
  • Testing and troubleshooting electrical systems
  • Working with manufacturing, quality, and supply management teams
  • Communicating with team members at a professional level
  • Providing engineering support to product development teams
  • Utilize Mentor Graphics Capital Harness for harness design
  • Working in PDM Link and SAP for business management and part tracking
  • Route and integrate harnesses in CREO Parametric 4.0
  • Participating in RQAs (routing quality assessments)

Requirements

  • Bachelors of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, or Agricultural Engineering or Engineering Technology.
  • Electrical aptitude demonstrated by past work and/or hobbies
  • Harness or hydraulic routing/integration experience
  • Ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of related academic or work experience
