RFA Engineering ( is seeking a full-time growth oriented Human Resource/Accounting Assistant to work in our Engineering Center in Eden Prairie, MN.  This person will assist with the day to day activities in both the Accounting and Human Resource Departments.


Accounting Assistant Duties:
The selected candidate will help our Accounting Department with their everyday payroll activities including but not limited to:

  • Create weekly invoices in accounting system
  • Reconciliation of project charges
  • Assist with monthly PTO reconciliation
  • Process PTO requests
  • Data entry of invoices into client web portals
  • General clerical tasks
  • Communication with owners, project managers, employees and clients
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager


Human Resource Assistant Duties:

The selected candidate will help our Human Resource Department with their everyday accounting activities including but not limited to:

  • Work with HR to on-board newly hired employees
  • Prepare and send offer and confirmation letters to candidates
  • Assist with conducting reference and background checks
  • Assists with the documentation of all HR processes and procedures
  • Assist in creating and updating all HR forms/templates
  • Assists with the monthly meetings and other events
  • May attend career fairs or other recruiting events
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the HR Manager



BS/AAS Degree in Human Resources Management, Accounting or related field required
Superior ability and application of windows-based software and use of MS-Office Software
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to work independently and multi-task
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Exceptional detail orientation and organization skills
